Why maths gaps compound
Mathematics is the most commonly tutored subject in the world — and it's easy to understand why. Maths is ruthlessly cumulative: miss a concept in Year 7 and it will haunt you in Year 11. A shaky understanding of fractions undermines algebra, which undermines calculus, which undermines exam results. The good news is that this also works in reverse.
