Online tutoring in Al Khobar

Al Khobar and Dhahran form one urban area with Dammam, and their schools are overseen by the Ministry of Education through the Eastern Province education department. Private and international schools follow the national rules on Arabic, Islamic culture and Saudi studies, and on which schools may admit Saudi nationals. Many expatriate families live on residential compounds, often linked to the energy industry.

The area has a long American-curriculum tradition. The International Schools Group runs American School Dhahran, British School Dhahran, ISG Dammam and ISG Jubail. American School Dhahran caps its American curriculum with either the AP Capstone Diploma or the IB Diploma, while British School Dhahran follows the National Curriculum for England through IGCSE and A Level. Aramco runs its own K4 to Grade 9 schools for employees' children.

Other options include the British International School Al Khobar, International Programs School with AP courses, and IB schools such as Dhahran International Schools and Dhahran Hills International Schools. KFUPM's campus in Dhahran gives local students a strong university option, with an SAT track for international school graduates.
